VALINTAKOKEET - ENTRANCE EXAMS 2026

 

Kellariteatterin valintakokeet tulevat jälleen!

Kellariin haetaan kivoja, luovia tyyppejä, jotka ovat valmiita sitoutumaan intensiiviseen työskentelyyn ja haluavat osaksi yhteisöä.

Haemme:
näyttelijöitä, ohjaajia, tuottajia, lavastajia dramaturgeja, pukusuunnittelijoita, äänisuunnittelijoita, valosuunnittelijoita, graafikkoja, maskeeraajia sekä muusikkoja

Olipa kiinnostuksen kohteesi mikä tahansa yllä olevista, me tahdomme nähdä juuri sinut!

 

Hakuohjeet

Pääsykokeet järjestetään tänä vuonna keskiviikosta sunnuntaihin 9.-13.9.2026. 

Jos haet näyttelijäksi, varaathan kokeita varten torstai- sekä perjantai-illat (klo 17-22), sekä lauantain ja sunnuntain aamusta myöhäiseen iltaan. Osallistut vain toiseen arki-illoista. Mainitse ilmoittautumislomakkeessa, jos pystyt osallistumaan kokeisiin vain yhtenä arki-iltana, niin pyrimme ottamaan toiveesi huomioon.

Jos haet taiteelliseksi suunnittelijaksi, varaathan alustavasti keskiviikkoillan (klo 17-22) sekä lauantain ja sunnuntain aamusta myöhäiseen iltaan.

Pääsykoeviikon tarkemmat aikataulut ilmoitetaan sinulle vielä sähköpostitse kun kokeet ovat käsillä.

Raati tekee karsintoja jo ennakkotehtävien perusteella, joten teethän ne huolellisesti.

Kellariteatterin uusien syksy 2026

Kellariteatterin, tuttavallisemmin Klitsun, jäsenyys vaatii sekä intohimoa että sitoutumista. Uusien syksy alkaa kuusi viikkoa kestävillä intensiiviviikoilla. Näiden viikkojen aikana tutustutaan Kellariteatterin toimintaan, ryhmäydytään ja osallistutaan klitsulaisten järjestämiin workshoppeihin. 

Intensiiviviikkojen lopussa järjestetään uusien demo, jossa jokainen pääsee työskentelemään roolissa, johon hänet on valittu Kellariteatteriin. Demo on uusista lähtöisin oleva kokonaisuus, jonka materiaali syntyy intensiiviviikkojen aikana tehdyistä harjoitteista.

Tämä intensiiviviikkojen ja uusien demon esityskauden paketti kestää seitsemän viikkoa. Näiden viikkojen ajan harjoituksia/esityksiä on arki-iltaisin ja viikonloppuisin keskimäärin viisi kertaa viikossa, ja uuden jäsenen odotetaan pystyvän sitoutumaan tähän.

 

Syksyn produktio

Uusien demon jälkeen voi itse päättää osallistuuko syksyn produktioon, johon jokaiselle uudelle on varattu paikka siinä roolissa, jossa on tullut valituksi klitsulle. Tämä produktio sitoo mukaan lähteneitä alustavasti helmikuun loppuun asti.

 

Kellariteatterin jäsenyys

Syksyn produktion jälkeen uudet voivat osallistua Kellariteatterin toimintaan normaalisti, ja päättää mitä teatterilla tahtovat tehdä. Kaikki on mahdollista! Klitsu on täysin jäsentensä summa, eli se mitä teatterissa tapahtuu riippuu sen jäsenistä! Klitsulaiset toimivat yhdessä niin kurssien, esitysten, tapahtumien kuin siivoamisenkin yhteydessä. Klitsulaisuus on teatteristamme ja sen yhteisöstä huolehtimista.

 

 

Kellariteatteri’s entrance exams are happening again!

We are looking for fun, creative people to join the "Kellari" community—individuals ready to commit to intensive work and become part of our group.

We are seeking:
actors, directors, producers, set designers, dramaturgs, costume designers, sound designers, lighting designers, graphic designers, makeup artists, and musicians.

Whatever your area of ​​interest is from the list above, we want to see you!

 

How to apply?

The entrance exams are held this year from Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th of September 2026. 

If you want to apply as an actor please note that the auditions are held either on Thursday or Friday evening (5-10pm) and both on Saturday and Sunday from morning until late evening. Please let us know on the application form which of the week nights (Thurs or Fri) works for you, and we’ll try our best to accommodate you. 

If you are applying as an artistic designer, please free up your Wednesday evening and both Saturday and Sunday from morning till late evening.

You will be informed of the exact timetable by email closer to the exams. To apply for membership, please send the form and your preliminary assignments to paasykokeet@kellariteatteri.fi by 11:59 PM on August 30, 2026. The form and preliminary assignments will be found down below.

The selection panel will begin narrowing down candidates based on the preliminary assignments, so please complete them with care.

New members’ Fall 2026

The membership of Kellariteatteri, colloquially known as Klitsu, requires both passion and commitment. New members’ Fall starts with the Intensives lasting six weeks. During this time new members get to know the daily operations of Kellariteatteri, get to know the others and participate in workshops held by older Klitsu members.

The Intensives lead into the new members’ demo, in which each new member will have the opportunity to work in the role they were chosen in. The new members’ demo is a comprehensive piece originating from the new members, with the material created from exercises conducted during the Intensives. 

This period of the Intensives and its performance week has the combined duration of seven weeks. The rehearsals/shows are held on average five times a week, in the evenings of weekdays and during the weekend. All new members should be able to commit to this during these seven weeks.


Fall Production

After the demo you can decide to take part in the Fall Production. Each new member is reserved a spot in the role that they applied for. This demands the participants’ time at least until the end of February 2026.


The membership of Kellariteatteri

After the Fall Production the New members can participate normally in the activities at Kellariteatteri. Everything is possible! Klitsu is a sum of its members, what happens there is entirely up to us. The community works together through productions, workshops, happenings, celebrations and keeping the space clean and safe for all. Being a member of Klitsu means taking care of our theater and the community.
